What it is

What motivational interviewing involves

Motivational interviewing is a collaborative way of talking about change, widely used in addiction treatment. It recognises that feeling two ways about change is normal, and works with that ambivalence instead of against it.

Rather than telling you what to do, I help you explore your own reasons for change, and your own ideas about how to get there.
